Raye, a British singer and songwriter, sat down for an interview with People where she opened up about a major hurdle in making her second album.
After the major success of her first album, My 21st Century Blues in 2023, fans have been eagerly awaiting new music from the singer. However, several wrenches have been thrown in her path.
"My car was stolen," she explained, "There was a big giant book that says 'RAYE's Second Album' on the front of it with loads of thoughts, loads of really f****** personal s***."
"I hope whoever stole the car just took the stuff and threw it in the bin 'cause I don't want people reading that," Raye added, "It's just really personal, deep stuff. But I've got to the point where I'm kind of over it now and just moving on."
The Escapism singer has had quite a hectic schedule since dropping her first album, including performances with artists like Taylor Swift, SZA, Lewis Capaldi and Kali Uchis, as well as her own solo shows.
She also came out with Born Again recently, which was a collaboration with Blackpink’s Lisa as well as Doja Cat.
