Salma Hayek reveals secret to success amid struggle with dyslexia

Mexican actress Salma Hayek took care of her mental health by carrying a distinctive lifestyle in the modern world despite facing major challenges due to dyslexia.

The 58-year-old, first diagnosed in her teens, made sure to skip the technological race by not depending entirely on the advancements and innovations the present times offer.

From the Dusk Till Dawn actress has almost freed herself from high tech unlike every other person marking their presence on social media. 

The Desperado star firmly declared: “The artificial intelligence doesn’t know me,” to ensure her daily habits are not controlled by robots whatsoever.

The Frida lead star opened up to Marie Claire magazine about not owning her personal computer, believing it affects the intelligence of a person “because the brain grows lazy.”

Ventanarosa Productions owner, who struggled with reading in her teenage, still relies on pen and paper for expressing herself, writing “everything by hand” and “barely” touching the phone.

The Academy Award-winner has old-fashioned habits when it comes to stocking up her grocery or ordering food: “I don’t buy online.”

Although the Eternals actress was discouraged during the early days in Hollywood due to her learning disorder, Salma didn't stop from progressing in the entertainment industry as the star is all set to direct and produce her first written feature which she feels is “meaningful.”
