After the decades old success of the director-actor duo of Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese, the pair is set to collaborate on a new project that is a novel adaptation.
Previously, DiCaprio and Scorsese have worked together in six feature films and one short film since 2002, last one being Killers of the Flower Moon in 2023. The upcoming film will be there eighth project together.
The movie is a film adaption of the novel Home written by Pulitzer Prize-winning American author Marilynne Robinson, under the Apple films development.
The Oscar-winning director will write, direct and produce the film with filmmaker Todd Field.
DiCaprio will play the role of the main character, Jack Boughton, an alcoholic man who returns to his town Gilead to take care of his dying father and sister Glory.
