Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo expecting first child

NFL star Christian McCaffrey and supermodel Olivia Culpo are expecting their first child together.

Culpo made the announcement on Monday on her Instagram with the caption “Next chapter, motherhood.”

The former Miss Universe also shared a video of her with McCaffrey holding hands in a green field as the mom-to-be posed in a long white dress.

Culpo previously hinted at pregnancy when she posted a photo on Instagram on 14th October. The picture showed McCaffrey putting his hand over her stomach.

The San Francisco 49ers running back has been dating Culpo since 2019 and the couple married in June 2024 in a ceremony in Rhode Island.

The baby news comes after a tough 2024 NFL season for McCaffrey.

The 28-year-old signed a two-year, $38 million extension with the 49ers in the offseason. However, McCaffrey was placed on the injury reserve list after week one of the season due to a calf injury sustained during training camp.

McCaffrey returned in week ten but sustained another injury during the first half of the December 1 game against the Buffalo Bills. He was placed on IR again which effectively ended his season on a sad note.
