Prince William and Princess Kate following in the footsteps of their former working royals Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in a surprise move.
The future King and Queen recently made it to the headlines because of their PDA moments during a visit to Wales.
Royal fans noticed visible change in the Prince and Princess of Wales' body language as a couple and the royals were compared with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Express reported that royal commentator Charlene White believes that William and Catherine's 'affectionate behaviour' in public might be inspired by the Sussexes, who wholeheartedly showered love at the recent Invictus Games.
Speaking on the Talking Royal podcast, another royal expert Lizzie Robinson, who covered the Prince and Princess of Wales' trip, said that the new approach of Waleses was visible as "they posted these images on their social media of Kate and William going to the train station, and they were holding hands."
Moreover, Charlene claimed that William and Kate's new strategy has been showing the royal family in an "Americanised" way.
"Ever since [Harry and Meghan] got together, holding hands, being very tactile, being very soppy with each other, we've seen a lot of that and that’s well, for an American market, it may not always play out so well here, but it does well in the American market," she stated.
Charlene said that it is a possibility that William and Kate are just following in the footsteps of estranged members of the Firm Harry and Meghan becoming the "lovers of the royal family."
