Kate Hudson reveals why fiancé Danny Fujikawa is the perfect match for her flirty personality

Hollywood star Kate Hudson is getting candid about her relationship with Danny Fujikawa, sharing how she’s grateful to have found a partner who can keep up with her vibrant personality.

In a recent interview with Bustle, the 45-year-old actress revealed that she’s naturally flirtatious and appreciates that her fiancé understands and embraces it.

"I’m the biggest flirt on the planet. Anybody who’s ever been with me is very aware that I flirt with everybody—girls, boys. Thank God Danny is my partner. He can handle this. I met the right guy," Hudson said.

Hudson and Fujikawa, who got engaged in 2021, share a six-year-old daughter, Rani. However, the actress is also a proud mom to 21-year-old Ryder, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and 13-year-old Bing, her son with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy.

Reflecting on how their romance blossomed, Hudson shared a heartfelt Instagram tribute in 2017, revealing that she and Fujikawa had known each other for years before romance sparked.

"The first time I met Danny I was 23 and enormously pregnant with Ryder. His stepsisters, @sarafoster and @erinfoster, are my best friends, so we’ve been in the same circle for over a decade," she wrote.

Hudson recalled how their relationship began unexpectedly: "A year ago today, Danny took me on a hike, and what I thought was just a hike with a family friend turned very quickly into an unexpected first date. No moves were made on this first date. In fact, it took months for him to make a first move! And as a kiss on this bridge would have been nice, the kiss a year later was so much sweeter."

While discussing her upcoming film Running Point, Hudson also raved about working with a cast full of "beautiful men."

"I was like, ‘What a dream! We have so many beautiful men to work with every day.' I mean, on this set, I was like, ‘How lucky am I? This is not difficult.' I remember there’s a scene where he comes in in this white suit, and he actually took my breath away. I literally was like, 'Hi,'" she shared.
