Taylor Swift keep inspiring art even during her break
Pop star Taylor Swift’s influence on pop culture island entertainment industry has transcended through decades and mediums.
Even though the star is taking a much deserved break away from spotlight after wrapping her Eras tour, she has inspired a new show.
New Netflix show Too Much is now streaming which has been directed and written by Taylor’s old friend Lena Dunham.
The writer revealed how the pop icon influenced one of the scenes on the show.
In a scene the protagonist is dealing with a heartbreak as well as the death of her dog while Taylor’s song Bigger Than the Whole Sky from her 2022 album Midnights plays in the background.
Lena revealed that originally a different song was supposed to be played but on Taylor’s advise, she picked the ambient ballad.
“She (Taylor) watched the sequence and so did her brother, Austin, who is amazing and does all of her music placement. So she said, 'Actually, I think I know what should be here”, Lena told US Weekly.
