Anne- Marie recently welcomed her second child with her rapper husband Slowthai in May.
The pair were already parents to their daughter Seven who is 18 months old.
The singer has revealed the dark side of embracing motherhood as she opened up about her struggles with mental health during those testing times after she had given birth.
Anne admitted that she suffered from both post-natal depression and post-natal anxiety after the birth of Seven.
The 34-year-old said she did not want to be left alone during that time.
In a conversation with Scott Mills on BBC Radio 2 on Tuesday, the singer said she struggled with anxiety so bad that she could not be left alone.
“I actually had anxiety so bad when I first had Seven and I didn't want to be left alone,”.
“And I was like, don't leave the house don't go there, don't go there. And I didn't know there was such thing as postnatal anxiety. I only knew about postnatal depression. So I was like, oh, okay, that's a new one.”, she added.
