Anna Kendrick, an American actress, is not too happy about the intense media coverage surrounding Blake Lively’s lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, according to People.
Another Simple Favor is the sequel to the successful original in which they were the lead stars, and it is set to open the SXSW festival Texas on 7 March. It will then become available for streaming on Prime Video from 1 May.
After the poster was released for the flick on Instagram, the comments section was overwhelmed by responses about Lively’s sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni, and his $400 million countersuit for defamation.
According to a source, Kendrick is "not used to being caught up in any drama."
"The comments on Instagram have upset her, especially the ones saying fans are now refusing to watch the movie because they don’t want to support Blake," they added.
Speculation about tension between the two began to arise, with people trying to bring up old interviews to find signs of conflict.
However, the source claims that there "really is no drama or rift" between the Pitch Perfect star and Lively.
"There is no feud. The film is in the early stages of planning what the press will look like, and Blake and Anna will be doing some things together,” said another insider.
