Lady Gaga, an American singer, gave a tribute to the victims of the terror attack in New Orleans at the 2025 Super Bowl.

She sat at a piano while being surrounded by New Orleans Police Department officers, New Orleans Saints and Pelicans owner Gayle Benson, NOPD Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick, legendary Louisiana quarterback Terry Bradshaw, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, and NFL greats Howie Long, Jim Johnson, Andrew Whitworth, Demario Davis, Tom Brady, Michael Strahan and Sean Payton.

While they all donned ‘NOLA Strong’ shirts, she performed her song Hold My Hand along with a choir.

The performance was given in honor of the 14 people who had been killed and the 57 who were injured in the New Year Day’s terror attack.

The attack had been carried out by a U.S army veteran, which was condemned by the New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell who said, "This was a cowardly act of terror that has deeply affected our community."

During the ESPN pregame show, footballer Jason Kelce grew emotional about the attack, in particular about victims Tiger Bech, who passed away and Ryan Quigley, who survived. "His commitment to fulfilling his promise to Bech moved me and underscores the impactful human stories connected to this tragedy."
