Allison Holker is setting the record straight regarding rumors surrounding her late husband, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, and Ellen DeGeneres.
During a recent interview with People to promote her new memoir, This Far, Holker dismissed speculation that DeGeneres and Boss were in a relationship, calling the rumors "disappointing".
"I don’t love when I see rumors flying around, and it was really disappointing for me to see that people tried bringing Ellen to the situation and targeting her."
Holker emphasized that Ellen was nothing but a supportive friend and mentor to tWitch.
"It was not true. Ellen’s wonderful, and she’s just been a support system. If anything, she was a great example to Stephen. They had a great relationship, and he loved that relationship with her."
She continued, urging people to respect the bond they had: "They had something that was so special. I hope people can see that that bond is something that we shouldn’t tear down."
Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss first appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show as a guest DJ in 2014, later becoming a permanent fixture on the show. By 2020, he had stepped into a co-executive producer role, solidifying his legacy as a key part of Ellen’s team.
On the second anniversary of his passing, DeGeneres honored him with a heartfelt Instagram tribute, writing: "Wherever I am, I feel you with me. I love you, tWitch."
Holker’s memoir, This Far, offers a deeply personal look at her love story with tWitch and how she and their children are coping following his tragic passing.
Despite the pain of loss, she remains focused on honoring his legacy and ensuring that the truth about his relationships is preserved.
