Jo Koy appears unfazed in first public sighting after Swifties backlash

Jo Koy channeled his nonchalant side after confessing his night went downhill following Taylor Swift jest.

The Chelsea Lately alum stepped out for the first time in public after garnering Swifties’ rage over an NFL joke he made at the Golden Globes 2024.

Photos obtained by Page Six showed the 52-year-old comedian flashing a bright smile to the cameras as he headed out of his vehicle on Monday.

He pulled off a laid-back look during his casual outing and donned a gray front open shirt as a jacket over a green LA t-shirt paired it with grey sweatpants.

The Easter Sunday star completed his look for the daytime outing with a pair of clear glasses, a baseball black cap, and white sneakers.

This carefree sighting come in less than 24 hours he poked fun at the NFL while mentioning the Midnight crooner which saw her fans bombard him with furious comments.

For the unversed, on Sunday, during the opening monologue of Golden Globe Koy began, "As you know, we came on after a football doubleheader."

"The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL? On the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift, I swear," he added.

Later on GMA3: What You Need to Know he clarified the quip that was misunderstood by both the Bad Blood crooner and her devoted fan base.

"I was trying to make fun of the NFL using cutaways and how the Globes didn’t have to do that. So it was more of a jab toward the NFL. But it just didn’t come out that way," he explained his side.
