John Stamos made a striking revelation about catching '80s girlfriend Teri Copley cheating with Tony Danza.
In his upcoming memoir, If You Would Have Told Me, Stamos, 60, spilled the beans about an unexpected twist in his romance with Copley, 62.
Entertainment Weekly obtained the excerpt of the memoir in which the Full House actor reminisced their whirlwind love story, how he fell head over heels in love with the model and how he called it quits.
John recounted back to the 1980s, and wrote, "She's everything I'm looking for in a woman," Copley, who had a daughter Ashley from a former relationship, and the actor loved the "idea of stepfatherhood.”
However, after about a year, Born to Ride actor began to feel that his "Tiny Dancer" is somewhat alienated from him.
As he was busy hitting the road with “doing car shows and gigs," he called the model only to find themselves “from talking on the phone every few hours to silence."
Later, he decided to pay a visit to her girlfriend to get things ironed out but, rather got his heart broken as his beloved girlfriend was sleeping with a man.
Stamos described the moment in his memoir as “the worst nightmare.”
It was only later when he spotted the poster with the message, “My Dear Tony, I’ll love you forever. XO, Teri" in the front seat of an unfamiliar “black 1957 Porsche 356 Speedster, vintage convertible,” that he realized that the "ripped abs" man was Tony Danza.
