Katy Perry is not letting critics cost her another paycheck.

The Teenage Dream singer is set to rejoin Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie on the judge's panel in Season 22 of American Idol, despite receiving backlash from the show’s fans during the last season.

The lineup was confirmed by ABC on Tuesday, which also revealed that Ryan Seacrest will resume his position as the host of the longstanding singing competition.

Perry landed in hot water for her rather blunt remarks aimed at the contestants of the show throughout Season 21; though, an insider told Page Six that the pop star wasn’t "fazed" by it a bit.

They insisted that Perry was "just doing her job," claiming that she "has a unique sense of humor that may not always translate well on camera."

Another source alleged to the Daily Mail in May that the Roar singer was not pleased with the showrunners for having her purposely be painted as the "nasty judge."

"Katy feels like [the producers] threw her under the bus," the insider told the outlet at the time, noting that most of her comments "could have been removed" from the final cut.

"Katy became aware of the harsh criticism. Getting booed really upset her. She was trying to stay in her lane, do her job, and go home," they explained.

"She has accomplished so much in her career and is now being looked at as a nasty reality show judge," the source claimed. "Katy's wanted out for some time now, but this season was way too much for her to handle."
