Marina Ivanovic announces engagement, 'He caught me off guard'

Marina Ivanovic, the esteemed traffic reporter of The Today Show, has shared her engagement to her beloved partner, Julius. 

The 29-year-old anchor took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal the heartwarming news, delighting her followers with a video capturing the precious moment.

With an infectious smile illuminating her face, Marina proudly showcased her exquisite diamond ring, a symbol of their commitment.

"He liked it so he put a ring on it! He well and truly surprised me by coming home early after being away for 3 months and making me his fiancé!" Marina ecstatically penned in her Instagram post. 

Overwhelmed with joy, she further exclaimed, "WE ARE ENGAGED! Can't wait to marry the love of my life!"

In a picturesque setting overlooking the magnificent ocean, Julius chose the perfect moment to ask for Marina's hand in marriage. 

The couple, radiating joy, captured the memorable occasion on video and sealed it with a passionate kiss, symbolizing their deep love and commitment.

Marina's romantic journey led her to this blissful moment with Julius, but her previous relationship with model Efe Çakar, which began in May 2020, was short-lived. 

However, it was in early 2021 that Marina found love once again with Julius, marking the beginning of their beautiful bond.

Her remarkable career in television commenced with a modest role as an extra on the popular Australian drama Home and Away back in 2010. 

Since then, she has become a familiar face in the industry. 

Her passion for the performing arts led her to receive training at prestigious institutions such as the National Institute of Dramatic Art and the Sydney Theatre School, where she honed her talents.
