Ryan Reynolds shares reason behind his colorful bracelets

Ryan Reynolds demonstrated to his kids that he is a loving parent by making a kind gesture.

The 46-year-old Deadpool actor was recently seen at the Friday 2023 Canadian Screen Awards, where he stopped to chat briefly with ET Canada.

The host observed Reynolds' eccentric accoutrements and enquired as to whether his children had manufactured them as he spoke about his expanding family and his preparations for the third Deadpool film.

The actor stated that "two out of three" of the bracelets were fashioned by his kids after briefly fidgeting with them in nostalgia.

James, 8, Inez, 6, and Betty, 3, are the daughters of Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively. In February, the couple gave birth to their fourth child, but they haven't revealed the baby's name or gender.

The actor has previously been photographed donning the sentimental item.

When Reynolds and guest host Rob McElhenney discussed Wrexham AFC, the Welsh football team they own together, on Jimmy Kimmel Live in August 2022, they both proudly wore bracelets designed by their daughters.

When he goes out in public or is engrossed in a thrilling game of football, he is never seen without the wristbands.

The most recent time he was seen wearing the identical wristbands was when he received a Humanitarian Award at the 2023 Canadian Screen Awards. He has also been seen wearing them at a Cannes Lions event, the screening of Taylor Swift's All Too Well: The Short Film, and other outings.

The actor can be seen sporting three bracelets: one with pink smiley-face beads, one with a rainbow array, and one with sparkling green and clear beads that spell out "DAD." In contrast to the subdued hues he typically wears, the pops of colour are frequently noticeable.
