Wiz Khalifa recently confirmed a collaboration with erstwhile contentious star Mia Khalifa in an unexpected but inevitable coupling.
For those who are unaware, Mia Khalifa (stage name) is actually a tribute to Wiz Khalifa because the actress was a big fan of Khalifa's music at the beginning of her career. The rapper's marijuana company, Khalifa Kush, will be the focus of the new partnership, although little more is currently known about its content.
The rapper shared the information on Twitter by posting a picture of himself and Mia with the message, "Y'all are gonna LOVE this Khalifa Kush collab I got comin' wit @miakhalifa."
Wiz Khalifa paid tribute to the late Paul Walker:
The heartfelt tribute See You Again by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth to Paul Walker in 2015 has just become the first hip-hop video to reach 1 billion YouTube views, demonstrating its vast appeal.
The song honours Paul Walker, the late and former lead actor in the movie, and is included on Fast and the Furious 7: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.
The reaction is well-deserved, as moving images of Walker and his F&F crew are cut in between images of Khalifa and Puth.
The song's success in becoming viral is a sign of the genre's mainstream ascent as well as of Khalifa's continuing commercial appeal and Walker's steadfast fan base. There is consolation in knowing that his legacy endures.
