Abel Tesfaye, who is notable by his stage name The Weeknd, decided to fulfil his fans’ wishes with a surprise of addition to the shows.

The 36-year-old singer turned to his Instagram and shared an update about new shows in Hong Kong on October 24, 25, 30 and 31. He is also performing in Bangkok now on October 11, 12 and 13.

He later surprised fans with the addition of Japan concert as part of the Asia tour, sending fans into frenzy.

Before the update was made live, the Blinding Lights hitmaker shared: “Another ASIA update soon…”

Fans were left buzzing with excitement as they try to determine the next location for more performances with several asking him to come to India.

One of the X users penned down: “India please, you still have time, you can do it,” referring to his last announcement which disappointed admirers.

Another netizen speculated: “You’re coming to India right?” while a third wants Tokyo on the list.

The requests indicate the popularity of Abel and his influence in the R&B world as fans desire to hear him live before his journey as The Weeknd comes to an end.
