BTS member Jin shared an adorable update with his ARMY fanbase after the musician enlisted for mandatory military service.

In a post on Instagram, the singer was seen posing with his fellow bandmates J-Hope and Jimin in a camouflage outfit with a peace sign.

Captioning the post "Welcome" the photo garnered over 13 million likes.

For the unversed, Jin was the first member of BTS to begin his mandatory military service, which kicked off last year.

He is expected to complete his service on June 2024.

Back in January, the singer gave fans an update on his new life with a post that translated: "I’m having fun. I’m posting a photo with permission from the military. Army, always be happy and stay well."

Next in line to embark on his military service is J-Hope, which emerged after the band’s label Big Hit revealed to fans at the end of February, though it remains to be seen when he will enroll.

The remainder of the bandmembers are also expected to complete their military service in the coming years.

In June 2022, the group made an announcement revealing that they will be embarking on a hiatus in order to pursue their personal projects and other endeavors.

Later on a few months, Big Hit confirmed that the seven members will also complete their military service requirements during their hiatus.

Currently, the group does not appear to have any intention of breaking up and if all goes as per schedule, ARMYs will see them back on the big stage as soon as 2025.
