BTS may miss Grammy Awards 2023 despite history-making nominations

BTS may not be attending the 2023 Grammy Awards despite their history-making Grammy nominations.

While there is no confirmation that members Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, Jin and Jungkook are attending, there is speculation that ARMYs should not get their hopes up as the band is not "prioritizing group activities" in the midst of Jin's completion of his military service.

As per The Korea Herald, the group will not "be present at the event this year as the group is currently on an indefinite break due to military enlistment and solo career commitments".

This comes after their label Big Hit Music announced in October 2022 that the septet planned to begin their mandatory military service and have subsequently decided to hold off any activities until 2025.

The group is also using this time to work on solo projects.
