Elon Musk ready to step down as Twitter CEO but on THIS condition

Two months after investing $44 billion in the social media network, Elon Musk has announced his intention to leave his position as CEO of Twitter.

On Tuesday, the co-founder of Tesla responded to an earlier social media survey by asking, "Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will abide by the results of the poll."

He then disclosed the results, which showed that 57.5 per cent of voters chose "yes," while 42.5 per cent chose "no."

Musk then tweeted in response: "I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams."

After his most recent tweet, singer Dionne Warwick made her poll asking people if she should succeed him as CEO of Twitter.

The poll rapidly received over 1,000 likes and hundreds of retweets. Damon Elliott, her son, answered, "I voted YES!"
