Police officer in charge to escort Wisconsin volleyball team amid leak

The University of Wisconsin volleyball team has been in the protection of a police office ever since the scandal involving online circulation of inappropriate photos and videos of the players back in October.

While there was no specific reason or incident that triggered the employment of additional security the UW-Madison Police Department reasoned as necessary precaution.

"Our presence on the road with the volleyball team is out of an abundance of caution," UWPD executive director of communications Marc Lovicott said.

For the unversed, the Wisconsin volleyball team got the world’s attention when private photos and videos somehow leaked on Twitter.

In some NSFW photos, it showed the Wisconsin volleyball team exposed indecently.
