Ana de Armas thinks it's 'disgusting' nudity in Blonde will go viral: I can't control it

Ana de Armas is disgusted by the notion that the one thing that will make rounds on the internet will be her nude scenes from Marilyn Monroe’s biopic, Blonde.

“I know what’s going to go viral, and it’s disgusting,” the Cuban actress told Variety during a cover story interview.

Despite expressing her disappointment, de Armas acknowledged that just like most things on the internet, this is also something she can’t control.

“It’s upsetting just to think about it. I can’t control it; you can’t really control what they do and how they take things out of context,” she shared. “I don’t think it gave me second thoughts; it just gave me a bad taste to think about the future of those clips.”

De Armas also noted that she wouldn’t have done the nude scenes for any movie other than the biographical flick.

“I did things in this movie I would have never done for anyone else, ever,” de Armas said earlier in the cover story interview about the risks she took to play Monroe. “I did it for her, and I did it for Andrew.”

Ana De Armas’ performance in Blonde resulted in a 14-minute standing ovation at the film’s Venice Film Festival world premiere and it is set to premiere on Netflix on September 28.
