Tabitha Brown is not going to change herself or her show for anyone.
Influencer and actor Tabitha Brown announced the removal of her cooking competition series it’s CompliPlated from the Food Network's primetime schedule while also spreading a message of dependency.
In a video that was shared on all of her social media channels, Brown made a consoling statement about being her true self without specifically mentioning the network.
“I know I’ve said this so many times before, but for whatever reason, people just don’t seem to believe me, okay?” she said in the video. “There is not a company, there is not a network, there is not a person, place, or thing that is going to change who I am.”
“Because I’m not going to change. I’m not going to shift a little bit for your audience. I’m not going to talk a little bit different for your comfort,” she added.
The host of It's CompliPlated announced that the show was shifted from a coveted primetime place on Thursdays at 9 p.m. to Tuesdays at 1 p.m. in the caption on Instagram, although without explicitly mentioning the Food Network. Episodes will continue to be accessible on-demand on Discovery+, where they have always been streamable.
The first plant-based cooking competition series on the Food Network, It's CompliPlated, was introduced in June, in which, under any conditions, chefs must complete three rounds of cooking.
