Sydney Sweeney gives her mom special surprise on her 60th birthday in Idaho

Sydney Sweeney dolled up like a cowgirl and astonished her mother Lisa with a Western-themed party at a barn in her home state of Idaho to mark the matriarch's 60th birthday over the weekend.

"No better way to celebrate my momma than a surprise hoedown," the Euphoria star captioned her post with photos and video from the festivities.

She wore a deep white button-down little dress with a brown leather belt and accessorised with a white Hat, a matching bandanna around her neck, and white leather cowgirl boots.

Sweeney showcased her line dancing abilities and rode a mechanical bull before posing for photos in a photo booth put up in a vintage trailer.

There was also jean jacket stitching, hatchet throwing, archery, and a live band during the birthday celebration.

"Thank you @haydondillonevents for helping me throw the best hoedown!! Honestly can't believe we pulled it off," Sweeney wrote on her Instagram Story, posting more images from the event.

"#1 Create a theme she'd enjoy. #2 Have her besties tell her they're taking her line dancing at the bar in town," she added. "#3 Have sign out front continuing the [ruse] (thank you @creativeamme)."
