Actor Matthew McConaughey sheds light on a significant lesson he had learned about entitlement over the years.
The Interstellar star has gone viral with a clip stressing over the life lesson which can do good to any individual.
Taking to Instagram, the star posted a video reading a book while sitting outside in the great outdoors and clutching a white mug and wrote, "Earn it. #soulcash."
He looked rather handsome sporting a white dress shirt with beige trousers and a pair of sunnies added more to his style.
Matthew began by saying, "You know I think we gotta really watch how quickly we like to say we deserve something."
He continued the lines, "I don’t know that we deserve anything. I’ve found that if we think we deserve something and we throw that word out and say ‘no, do we earn it?"
This 52-year-old revealed, "That becomes measurable. We can earn things, but I don’t think we deserve things."
"And earning means we’re in the process of helping get what we want."
"Saying that we deserve it – a lot of times we just lean back and go, ‘well I’m supposed to get mine, I deserve it.’ It’s different than earning it. Earn before you deserve."
Fans quickly showered the actor with praise for his intelligent yet uplifting words with one person saying, "Inspiring remarks from Professor McConaughey."
Another added, Entitled individuals think they deserve things. Instead, put in the effort and earn it.
