Reese Witherspoon’s son Deacon Phillippe to make acting debut in Netflix's Never Have I Ever

Reese Witherspoon’s son, Deacon Phillippe is set to make his acting debut in the upcoming season of Never Have I Ever as a guest star.

He will play Parker, an outgoing member of a rival debate team from a rich private school, whose lifestyle offers him certain advantages that allow him to coast as a student.

Photos released by Netflix in late July show him wearing a tie-dye hoodie and sharing the screen with Addison (Terry Hu), Nirdesh (Anirudh Pisharody), and Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) in the eighth episode of the third season.

Created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, Never Have I Ever — which premiered on Netflix in April 2020 — follows Indian American teenager Devi as she navigates the trials of high school life.

The Legally Blonde star shares an 18-year-old musician with a former husband, Ryan Phillippe.

Season 3 of Never Have I Ever will premiere on Aug. 12 on Netflix.

The upcoming season will also mark the penultimate season of the show.
