Ahad Raza Mir stars in Netflix Resident Evil Series

Ahad Raza Mir, a Pakistani-Canadian actor, stars as Arjun Batra in the new Netflix series Resident Evil.

The popular South Asian-Canadian actor describes it as "a completely brand new retelling of the story that follows the lore" of the "Resident Evil" genre.

Mir is a well-known actor in Pakistan who has received praise for his roles in "Parwaaz Hay Junoon," "Aangan," "Ehd-e-Wafa," and "Yeh Dil Mera" (2019). ZEE5's streaming service "Dhoop Ki Deewar," in which Mir and Sajal Aly starred, enjoyed success all over the world.

Mir has established a name for himself as a theatre performer in Canada, having portrayed Tybalt in "Romeo and Juliet" (2014) and Lennox in "Macbeth" (2015).

Mir, whose casting was made public by Variety, claims to have played and seen every "Resident Evil" game and film. His character “plays more of a pivotal role in the emotional moments in the show," he says of his persona.
