Netflix confirms doc-series on David Beckham's life

Netflix has confirmed a documentary series on David Beckham which will look into some 40 years of his life, including his career, in a multi-part series.

The series which is as yet un-named will be directed by Fisher Stevens, who is known for We Go Green. 

Along direction, Stevens will executive produce, with John Battsek known for Searching For Sugar Man.

The series will feature the unseen and archived parts of Beckham's life from the past four decades, including interviews with the Manchester United Star, his friends and family.

The documentary will be portraying the story of Beckham's early life in East London, and his exceptional career as a footballer.

Footballer's own Studio 99 is also on board to produce the doc.
