Mel C has finally entered a new chapter after marrying Australian model Chris Dingwall in a low key wedding ceremony.
The Spice Girls singer, 52, said "I do" on Saturday, July 18, at Country House Cumbria in England, with only close family and friends present for the celebration.
The Daily Mail reported that Scarlett, the British singer's 17-year-old daughter with property developer Thomas Starr, was part of the ceremony as her bridesmaid.
While Emma Bunton, Mel B and Geri Halliwell attended the ceremony, although Victoria Beckham was unable to attend because she was in the United States with husband David Beckham during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
"It was a gift from Victoria, they are really close. Victoria would have loved to have been there if she could," one source shared as another added, "It was her great pleasure to make the dress for Mel."
A source told the outlet that the couple wanted an "intimate" wedding with only their closest loved ones.
"Mel and Chris wanted an understated wedding, she didn’t want a big flashy day but something smaller and very classy," the insider shared.
"Mel swore she would never get married, having a big do wasn’t really for her."
"It is the perfect venue for them, totally out of the way but in the most beautiful place and everyone had the most fantastic time," the source added.
