David Beckham’s playing cupid for Tom Cruise?

Tom Cruise, who is one of Hollywood’s most bankable stars, has remained under media scrutiny for his three failed marriages and breakups.

After his alleged breakup with actress Ana de Armas in late 2025, the Top Gun star has requested his friend David Beckham and his wife, Victoria, to find him an English bride.

According to Radar Online, a source reveals that Tom spends more time in America but “he’s still a rabid Anglophile”.

The Mission: Impossible actor is fond of British culture which is why he’s on a quest to find an “English lady” as a life partner.

“He's been looking by himself for years but had no luck. That's partly because he's picky,” says an insider.

However, another source notes that Tom “doesn't have the opportunity to rub shoulders with the blue-blood types as often as he'd like”.

“He was throwing tea parties in Mayfair for a while and enjoyed some brief courtships, but nothing really stuck. Now he's relying on David to put the word out and hook him up,” explains an insider.

David’s wife Victoria is also helping Tom to find a ladylove but she’s not crazy about the actor and can only handle him in small doses.

The first source shares that the Oblivion actor gave his requirements about the ideal candidate.

“Be in her late 20s or early 30s and have ties to the royals, Tom is determined to keep building on his friendship with Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton,” states an insider.

“The top priority is finding Ms. Right – preferably a bona fide English rose,” for the Jerry Maguire actor.
