'Love Island USA' star Corbin Mims feels at ease after elimination

Corbin Mims walked in as a bombshell on day 4 of the series and immediately became the talk of town due to a shocking reason.

In an interview with People magazine, the star shared that he is relieved to be out of the villa, describing his experience being part of the show.

The 22-year-old model joined the others in Love Island USA Season 8 in hope to win the whopping cash price and be coupled with one of the beauties.

However, things took a turn for him as Corbin earned an unusual nickname from his online fans and cast members because of his facial features.

He was renamed by others as CorbinGPT due to his stiffness in expressions with people telling him: “Dude, you walked in like you’re AI. You were walking in slow motion.”

They usually appreciated him for his picture-perfect look, being described as someone looking so “good from head to toe like you got picked from Mount Olympus and dropped here.”

The influencer could not help but laugh recalling how his sleeping patterns added to the running joke as he won’t move at night. Boys in the villa poked fun at him for seemingly “recharging.”

The eight season is all set to conclude on July 12, 2026 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Peacock after running for six weeks since its premiere on June 2, 2026.
