Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have officially said “I do” and those lucky enough to witness the superstar couple’s wedding say it was every bit as emotional as fans would imagine.

The 36-year-old singer and the Kansas City Chiefs star exchanged vows during a lavish ceremony at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Friday, with Hollywood favourite Adam Sandler officiating the unforgettable occasion.

Among the star-studded guests was Good Morning America host George Stephanopoulos, who described the ceremony as both deeply moving and wonderfully personal.

“The ceremony was great, moving. Adam Sandler, funny and touching,” he said.

“The vows were everything you would hope for – real, vulnerable, serious and silly. Deeply loving. Who knew that a wedding in Madison Square Garden could be so intimate?”

According to TMZ, the Lover singer walked down the aisle to a beautiful strings rendition of one of her own songs.

While Travis’ nieces, the daughters of Jason and Kylie Kelce, served as flower girls, scattering petals as she made her entrance.

The celebrations were packed with heartfelt surprises as Adam reportedly wrote and performed an original song dedicated to the newlyweds, blending humour with touching lyrics about their love story.

Following the ceremony, guests entered a spectacular reception transformed into a magical setting inspired by Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz, creating a fairytale backdrop for the celebrations.

Taylor’s representatives confirmed that the bride and groom wore bespoke Christian Dior Haute Couture designed by Jonathan Anderson, with custom Christian Louboutin shoes and Cartier jewellery completing the Grammy winner singer’s bridal look.

Rather than having bridesmaids or groomsmen, her brother Austin Swift served as her Man of Honour, while Jason Kelce stood beside Travis as Best Man.

As the newlyweds celebrated inside, giant jumbotrons outside Madison Square Garden announced the happy news with the playful message: “JUST T MARRIED!”
