Olivia Wilde has shared an important life lesson she learned from her latest movie, The Invite.
The American actress recently starred in the comedy movie alongside Seth Rogen, Wilde, Penélope Cruz, and Edward Norton.
Opening up about the new movie to PEOPLE, she also reflected on what she had learned throughout the movie.
Talking about the theme of the film, she stated that building a long-term relationship takes more than one can expect.
She said, "Relationships are hard, It's impossible to… It's not impossible, but it feels impossible, I think, at times, to sustain a relationship with one person for a very long time if you don't have these difficult conversations that the movie is really about."
The filmmaker also previously revealed that her romantic bond with American actor and fiancé, Jason Sudeikis, also ended for a similar reason.
She revealed on June 17th's episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast that she knew it was over, the moment he admitted that he didn't know what to get her for her birthday.
Notably, Olivia is the mother of two children, Otis and Daisy, who she shares with Jason.
