Taylor Swift got embroiled in a legal crossfire before she walked down the aisle on July 3 and marry Travis Kelce.
The 36-year-old singer named her album Life of A Showgirl, earning massive success after the release.
However, Maren Wade slammed the Grammy winner with an infringement suit as her brand is called Confessions of A Showgirl.
According to TMZ, the Lover crooner has “filed a motion on Tuesday to dismiss” the trademark case. Her lawyers insist that the two do not bear any resemblance which creates confusion.
The legal team reasoned that the two deliver completely different products, calling the allegations “absurd.”
Taylor did not speak about the case personally as she is currently busy preparing for her much-awaited wedding ceremony.
The musician is all set to tie knot with the NFL star on July 3. However, it was revealed by one of the attendees that the nuptials and the party are not going to take place on the same day.
According to one speculation, the Love Story crooner might perform alongside other guest singers at the events as a stage was constructed.
Moreover, a detail leaked about the couple tying knot at a castle-like building. It is to be noted that not much is known about the couple’s big day as they got guests to sign NDA.
