Miley Cyrus' ex Cody Simpson updates fans after tragic accident

Cody Simpson has broken the hearts of his fans after his recent confession on social media.

The Australian singer was already on a forced break due to his suffering from serious vocal cord hemorrhage.

Now he has released another statement on Instagram, which has shocked his fandom.

Nickelodeon's child star penned, "The universe is serving it to me this year! An update on where I've been: I’ve been on and off vocal rest for close to 3 months trying to heal a damaged vocal cord."

Notably, the crooner revealed he can not dance or sing for months to come due to him getting into back-to-back distress.

He added, "We decided to operate to aid the recovery, then I dislocated my knee rehearsing for a new music video and we had to push surgery back to let my knee settle."

The iYiYi hit maker admitted that the unexpected situation has caused him to slow down after years of "non-stop" work, which means he won't be able to do any live shows or drop his anticipated album.

For the unversed, the 29-year-old actor, who dated Hannah Montana star, Miley Cyrus for 10 months in 2020, was set to release his first full-length project soon.
