John Mayer’s latest romance has quietly come to an end.
The reports are claiming that the singer and social media star Kat Stickler have gone their separate ways after less than a year together.
The 48-year-old hitmaker, whose famous former flames include Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift, is said to have split from influencer Kat several months ago after their relationship gradually lost momentum.
According to insiders, there was no explosive row or dramatic heartbreak behind the break-up.
Instead, the pair simply realised they were living very different lives.
“It wasn’t a dramatic split,” a source revealed.
“The relationship just fizzled out. They had a great time together but eventually recognised they wanted different things day-to-day. They’re still on good terms and remain friends.”
Kat, who is a devoted mum, reportedly found one aspect of the relationship particularly challenging.
Sources claim she was always cautious about introducing her daughter to someone she was dating, and juggling family life alongside two demanding schedules proved difficult.
The pair first sparked romance rumours in 2025, with insiders previously claiming it was Mayer who made the first move and actively pursued the influencer after learning she had recently ended another relationship.
The split comes after New Light singer openly admitted he still hopes marriage is in his future.
Speaking during a live appearance last year, the musician revealed that any relationship he enters now is viewed through the lens of long-term commitment.
“I would not date someone if it didn’t have the possibility of becoming a marriage,” he said, adding that every girlfriend would be considered a potential wife.
Despite another romance ending, he remains hopeful about finding lasting love.
The singer has also spoken about the importance of vulnerability in modern relationships, warning that emotional walls and fear of openness can make genuine connections harder to build.
