Kit Harington’s honest confession about filming sex scene in ‘Dreadful’

Kit Harington recently made honest about filming sex scenes with Sophie Turner in horror movie, The Dreadful.

Given their past onscreen relationship with Sophie, the English actor spoke to Peter Dinklage for CNN’s Actors on Actors about filming explicit scenes.

“It was weird,” said the 39-year-old.

Kit and Sophie first met on the set of Game of Thrones where they played siblings as Jon Snow and Sansa Stark respectively.

However, both stars played lovers in The Dreadful movie, who produced and starred in the gothic horror movie where Kit played a sinister stranger who reemerged in the lives of Anne and her mother-in-law Morwen.

Kit said, “She sent me the script and I said, 'Sophie, there's a lot of us getting it on.’”

“She hadn't seen that. She just said, 'Yeah, Kit would be good for this part,’” explained the 39-year-old.

Elsewhere in the interview, Kit shared his doubts about accepting the role in The Dreadful.

Reflecting on reason, Kit opened up that he’s known Sophie since she was a child and always considered her “like a younger sister”.

“We did it. It was gross but it was fine,” admitted the Pompeii actor.

Gushing over Sophie, Kit added, “She's an amazing actor. I know we all know that but she was a child when she [started on Game of Thrones]. She is phenomenal!”
