Taylor Swift recently inspired Suki Waterhouse in her life as she shared rare insight into her close friendship with the well-known singer.
The British singer-actress, who has been friends with Taylor since 2016, praised the Opalite singer for “going through so much” in life and then “pulling herself through every time”.
“The coolest thing about her is she gives other artists these insane opportunities that really change people's lives,” said the 34-year-old in a candid interview with Variety.
Suki gushed over Taylor, saying, “Knowing her as a friend, she's actually been through so much.”
“I think the thing I always see in her is how she pulls herself through every time, and how everything that's ever happened to her becomes another piece of art that becomes part of the legacy,” explained the Daisy Jones and The Six star.
“That's so inspiring — that's the artist that you want to be,” admitted Suki, who welcomed her first child with partner Robert Pattinson five months ago.
This is not the first time Suki praised Taylor. In her another interview with The Times, she recalled the backstage drama that took place at the gig at Wembley that nearly disrupted her act.
The Burn actress asked the French fashion house Chloé to make her a dress for a gig, but the day before the show, it was closed and her team tried to call them many times with no response.
However, she got her dress in less than two hours before she was due to perform, and later Suki got to know that it was because of Taylor’s input.
“That’s the thing about her: I should have known, she always plans. When she says something, she's gonna do it,” added the singer-actress.
