Donald Trump’s advisor spills on Ted Cruz, Nicki Minaj encounter: ‘Creepy’

Donald Trump’s advisor Alex Bruesewitz is taking to social media to spill some behind-the-scenes details about Ted Cruz’s interaction with Nicki Minaj.

The Trump administration official responded to a fan of the rapper on Twitter, now X, who had shared an image of the trio with a number of crying emojis in the caption.

“Not to overexaggerate, but I’ve never seen anything like it. @tedcruz and his staff literally sprinted down the hallway screaming “Nicki! Nicki! Nicki!” begging Nicki Minaj for a picture. I told Ted we were in a rush…” the 29-year-old wrote.

“We just didn’t have time for Ted. Plus, brand-wise, it’s not exactly a good look to pose with Lyin’ Ted...After getting turned down for the formal photo, Ted cornered us on the way out and his team snapped this shot as we were leaving just to make him look cool. Extremely creepy,” he added.

Bruesewitz added insult to injury by adding that he won’t be taking any foreign policy advice from someone who behaves in that manner.

Notably, this is not the first time Cruz has been viewed as someone vying for celebrity photos and endorsements as he behaved similarly with Kid Rock.
