Kim Kardashian makes headlines for $8.4 million drugs smuggle

Kim Kardashian was brought in the spotlight for smuggling drugs while she enjoys her new found love with Lewis Hamilton.

The 45-year-old model, who has been trying to stay lowkey with her romance, made the headlines for a bizarre reason after a truck was stopped at Harwich International Port.

According to reports, the driver hid nearly $8.4 million worth of cocaine in a shipment of Kim’s underwear which was partially seized for examination by the authorities.

The delivery was being made from the Netherlands to the UK for a future dealing. 

The incident resulted in the driver, Jakub Konkel, being jailed for 13-and-a-half years.

It was reported that he was paid around $5,200 to take them from the Hook of Holland; however, the situation was interrupted by the officers at the UK border.

The initial investigation discovered that Jakub was carrying “28 pallets of underwear and clothing” which went through an X-ray at the port.

This comes as Kim and Lewis continue to hang out without confirming their romance. They are usually spotted walking hand-in-hand at several events.They are even rumoured to be tying knot together.

When asked about the Coachella experience, the F1 driver did not mention his flame and revealed he was there for Justin Bieber.
