Russell Andrews is going public with his ALS diagnosis with an in-depth interview about it with fiancée Erica Tazel.

The Better Call Saul actor and his better half opened up about the debilitating disease and the thing that it taught the latter about love.

In a sit down interview with CNN’s The Story Is with Elex Michaelson, the 64-year-old stated, “I am a person living with ALS. I was diagnosed in the late fall of last year,” adding that the pair have found community with the nonprofit ALS Network.

“And it's been humbling but there's… Elex, there's also something in the fact that I walked into a family of very caring people I did not know a year ago — the cliché family, but they have not let us miss a step in terms of care, the attention, the awareness and the ability to get me here today,” he added.

Andrews then disclosed the symptoms that he experienced before the diagnosis, such as twitches and losing mobility, with his fiancée adding that she also noticed the changes.

Notably, Tazel also said that she was calm when the illness was labeled because it answered her queries and gave her an understanding of things and reinforced the unconditional love she had for him.
