BLACKPINK Lisa rewrites history at Met Gala 2026 as prestigious role

BLACKPINK’s member Lisa, who also stared in The White Lotus, is all set to make history with her special inclusion in the Met Gala 2026.

After the dress code of the prestigious event was confirmed to be "Fashion is Art", Lisa, Doja Cat and other celebrities were named as the members of the Host Committee this year.

The 29-year-old musician will become the first K-pop artist to be part of the group.

The Rockstar hitmaker was recently spotted leaving the hotel with huge crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of the musician before she entered her vehicle waiting.

The event is being attended with approximately 450 A-list stars for one of the biggest nights which will be co-chaired by Beyonce, Nicole Kidman and Venus Williams.

The Diva hitmaker is returning to the red-carpet after a decade hiatus since her last appearance in 2016 when her futuristic attire dominated the headlines.

Apart from Lisa, Sabrina Carpenter, Doja, Teyana Taylor, Elizabeth Debicki and Lena Dunham will be in the host committee. Zoe Kravitz and Anthony Vaccarello will be leading the group.

What time is Met Gala?

The programme is scheduled on May 4 in accordance to the tradition of holding it on the first Monday of May. The guests are expected to arrive at 18:00 EST (23:00 BST).
