Scott Mills has reportedly been removed from a series of major summer concerts, marking the latest blow to the former BBC Radio 2 presenter following his recent dismissal from the broadcaster.

The 53-year-old DJ had been scheduled to perform at high-profile stadium shows this summer, including a set of concerts alongside Irish pop group Boyzone.

However, organizers have now quietly dropped him from the lineup, with promotional material featuring his name removed in recent days.

According to Daily Mail, the development comes shortly after the BBC terminated Mills’ contract in March 2026, citing “new information” related to his personal conduct.

The decision followed renewed scrutiny of a historic police investigation into allegations dating back to the late 1990s.

Although Mills was questioned by police in 2018, no charges were ultimately brought, with the case closed due to insufficient evidence.

Despite this, the fallout from his dismissal has been significant. In addition to losing his radio role, Mills has seen several professional opportunities affected, including live performances and media appearances.

As per the outlet, his removal from the summer concerts signals the growing impact of the controversy on his career.

Furthermore, the BBC has also launched an internal review into how the situation was handled, particularly regarding its prior awareness of the investigation.

Mills has acknowledged the investigation and reiterated that he cooperated fully, but has largely stepped back from public engagements, as per the publication.
