Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has secured a legal win regarding his 50-month prison sentence after being convicted of minor charges last year.
The Bad Boy records founder’s release date has been moved up by 10 days, as per the Federal Bureau of Prisons website.
Initially, the 56-year-old was set to be released June 4, 2028, and then April 25 of that year, with it now being April 15.
Meanwhile, Diddy’s legal team is also still hard at work as they have filed another appeal om March 13 and described his prison time as a "perversion of justice."
They argued for “immediate release and a judgment of acquittal or at least vacate and remand for resentencing.”
The disgraced rap mogul’s team has also argued that the jury did not reach the conclusion that the women were “coerced” or “forced” but the judge relied on those findings during sentencing and oral arguments in the appeal have been scheduled for April 9.
Diddy has been convicted last summer on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, and is incarcerated at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.
Notably, the I’ll Be Missing You singer appeared remorseful for his actions before the sentencing, but the prosecution stands firm against him.
