Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has recently shared his heartwarming reaction on becoming the recipient of Disney Legends Award last week.

The wrestler turned actor takes to Instagram days after Disney announced the list of honourees including Anne Hathaway, Jonas Brothers among others.

Interestingly, the Moana 2 actor posts a video of himself, celebrating his success and pens a heartfelt caption after receiving the recognition.

“I was really moved when I received the call as that certain voice on the other line said I would be receiving Disney’s highest honour ~ Disney Legends Award,” writes the 53-year-old in the caption.

Dwayne continues that this “honour recognises individuals with significant and global impacts on Disney”.

Expressing gratitude, the Red Notice actor says that he’s “moved” and then wishes a big “THANK YOU”.

Dwayne shares that he “believes in hard work, being grateful, being humble, being good to people, taking care of people, and respecting that the trust they put in you to deliver, is sacred”.

The Jungle Cruise actor also tries to “spread and deliver a little joy” for the people around the world.

“Thank you Josh, Alan, Dana, Asad, David, Steve, executive teams, Imagineers, every Disney employee and cast member around the world,” he continues.

Before concluding, Dwayne adds that he’s “looking forward to pull up and showing my gratitude in person at the ceremony” that will be held on August 16 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

As soon as he posted, the Fast & Furious actor garnered lots of love from his fans and followers.

One says, “I am so proud of you for giving your best, overcoming obstacles, and not giving up, even when everything seems difficult.”

Another remarks, “The people's champion, the most electrifying man in sports entertainment, and the best actor in Hollywood.”

“So inspiring. The way you lead with gratitude and purpose really shows in everything you do,” states a third fan.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Dwayne will next be seen in Disney’s Moana, which will release on July 10.

Moreover, the actor has just finished filming the upcoming Jumanji movie, which is expected to release later this year.
