Florida woman Ivanna Lisette Ortiz has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder after allegedly firing at Rihanna’s Los Angeles home.

According to authorities, the suspect attempted to shoot from the gun like an AR-15 on the singer at her Los Angeles home on March 8, 2026, while she was with her children and A$AP Rocky.

As per TMZ findings, she ran from the house and was later caught in a nearby shopping center.

She is facing one charge of attempted murder, ten charges of attacking someone with a semi-automatic gun, and three charges for firing at an occupied home or vehicle. A conviction could mean life behind bars, the publisher added.

Moreover, the outlet revealed that the alleged shooter pleaded “not guilty” after the charges were read in court. This marks her second plea, as an earlier one from March 11th had been withdrawn.

Her public defender’s requests for bail and for a reduced bond were both denied, leaving her bond set at $1,875,000, KABC-TV reports. She also agreed to waive her right to a speedy preliminary hearing, the Associated Press reported.

Investigators say the case may have roots in Ortiz’s social media activity. On February 23rd, she posted on Facebook tagging Rihanna, questioning why the singer had not responded directly to her messages.

Another video showed Ortiz addressing Cardi B while wearing a blonde wig, claiming she had “the cutest outfit tonight.”

Notably, Lisette Ortiz remains in custody as the legal process continues.
