Jorginho claimed his daughter had a tense encounter with Chappell Roan’s hotel security
Pop singer Chappell Roan gave a public shoutout to her security team during her Lollapalooza Brazil performance.
The acknowledgement came from the singer just hours after professional soccer player Jorginho accused her of sending a guard to confront his 11-year-old step daughter.
On March 21, the soccer star shared a lengthy Instagram Stories post in Portuguese and English alleging that the 28-year-old songstress instructed a security guard to accuse his daughter of “disrespecting and harassing” the singer while they all dined at a São Paulo hotel.
He said the incident left his daughter “in tears.”
“My daughter, like any child, recognized her, got excited, and just wanted to make sure it was really her,” he wrote.
He continued, “The worst part is she didn't even approach her. She simply walked past the singer's table, looked to confirm it was her, smiled, and went back to sit with her mum. She didn't say anything, didn't ask for anything.”
Moreoevr, he added, “A large security guard came over to their table… speaking in an extremely aggressive manner… even said he would file a complaint… while my 11-year-old daughter was sitting there in tears.”
Later that night, performing at Lollapalooza Brazil, Chappell Roan thanked her team onstage, “I'm so grateful, so thank you, and thank you to my crew and my security and my band, and everyone behind the scenes. This takes a lot of people, so thank you.”
Notably, Lollapalooza Brazil runs March 20–22 at the Autódromo de Interlagos in São Paulo, featuring performers including Cypress Hill, Katseye, Lola Young, and Marina.
