Justin Timberlake faced a major setback after his body cam’s arrest video from 2024 was released for public.
Although not many celebrities reacted to the legal situation, FINNEAS drew fierce criticism for poking fun at the musician.
The Mirrors crooner can be seen unable to follow instructions given by law enforcement who suspected DWI (driving while intoxicated). Reports confirmed he was under influence.
On one of the videos share on Instagram, he commented: “Funnier than I had ever imagined.” The remark was deemed insensitive by the online community.
A netizen criticised him, asking on X (formerly Twitter): “Why are we making fun of a serious situation? DUI isn’t a joke.”
Another user was of the opinion that The Dream hitmaker “got some attitude problem” as they were confused why he is “always shading people?”
While many expect a reaction from the SexyBack crooner to react to him, Justin is yet to address the release of the arrest video despite contesting it.
Before the public reveal, the songwriter filed a lawsuit in an attempt to stop the video from circulating amongst public.
His lawyers argued that the action would cause irreparable harm to his status, alongwith other harms, including “stigma, harassment, reputational injury and permanent loss of privacy.”
