Paul Feig lauds Blake Lively amid Justin Baldoni legal trial

Another Simple Favor director Paul Feig has recently lauded Blake Lively amid her ongoing legal battle with It Ends with Us director-leading man Justin Baldoni.

Paul shares that the actress is “doing great” despite the legal pressure she has been experiencing last year.

While speaking to Extra at the 98th Academy Awards on Sunday, March 15, the movie-maker gushes over Blake.

“She is great… She's great. She's just, you know, soldiering on,” explains The Housemaid director.

Paul confesses that he “loves” Blake and even calls her “a wonderful, great mom” which he notes is “the biggest part of her life.

Blake, who shares four children with actor Ryan Reynolds, has “a happy marriage” to her husband, notes the movie-maker.

“Their kids are great and she has a happy marriage and I love her,” adds Paul.

Paul is one of the celebrities who supported the actress after Colleen Hoover adaptation’s behind-the-scenes came to spotlight.

“I've now made two movies with Blake and all I can say is she's one of the most professional, creative, collaborative, talented and kind people I've ever worked with,” he said at the time.

Paul stated, “She truly did not deserve any of this smear campaign against her. I think it's awful she was put through this.”

Meanwhile, Blake and Justin will begin legal trial on May 18.
